ORCA AI Assistant

The ORCA AI Assistant is an AI helper you can chat with from any PC admin screen. Ask the way you normally talk, such as "How is today's production plan?", and it looks up and analyzes your ERP data to answer. It can also explain how to use features.

Before you begin

  • The assistant opens only on the AI Plus plan. On other plans, clicking the button shows the Service Use dialog with This feature is only available for AI Plus subscription plans and To use this feature, please change to the AI Plus subscription plan, and the chat window does not open.
  • To ask questions by voice, allow microphone access in your browser.

Basic use

  1. Click the AI Chatbot button at the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Type your question in the input box (for example, Show today's production plan status or Analyze line utilization).
  3. Click Send. While the answer is being prepared, Analyzing and the progress status are shown. If it is not the answer you want, click Stop.
  4. Review the answer. When the AI suggests a related screen, click Open page to open that screen in a new tab.

Let the AI prepare a registration

When the AI prepares a registration, it opens the registration screen and fills in the values in advance. Currently, the chat can prepare Register Standard Unit.

  1. Describe the standard unit you want to register in the chat.
  2. When the AI suggests the values to register, click Confirm below the answer. The standard unit registration screen opens with the unit symbol, unit name, unit category, and usage status filled in.
  3. Check each filled value.
  4. At the save step, click Confirm to open the confirmation dialog of the registration screen. Confirm the save yourself in that dialog.

Talk by voice

  • Click the microphone icon next to the input box to ask your question by voice.
  • Choose Voice under Reply mode below the input box to hear answers aloud. Choose Text to get written answers only.
  • If your browser does not support recording, Voice recording is not supported in this browser. is shown. If microphone permission is not granted, Microphone permission is required. is shown. Allow microphone access in your browser settings and try again.

FAQ

Q. I clicked the button, but the window does not open. If you saw This feature is only available for AI Plus subscription plans, the assistant is not available on your current plan. Ask your administrator to check the plan.

Q. I see Failed to check AI access. Please log in again. Sign out, sign in again, and then open the window.

Q. Can I also edit or delete standard units through the chat? No. The only task you can save through the chat is standard unit registration. Edit or delete standard units yourself on the Standard Unit Management screen.

Q. I want to start the conversation over. There is currently no new conversation button on the screen. For a new topic, just keep asking in the same chat.
