Shipment Type Management

Overview

Use this screen to view, register, edit, and delete shipment types used in shipping operations.

List screen

Access

Select the corresponding menu in the sidebar.

Before you begin

Determine the shipment-type name, shipment category, lead time, cutoff time, and available shipment days.
Decide whether to enter the code manually or use automatic code generation.

Required information

Code, shipment-type name, shipment category, lead time, cutoff time, available shipment days, and usage type are marked as required on the screen.
However, the current save behavior does not separately block missing values in these fields. Do not rely only on the markings; review and enter all values needed for the business.
When automatic code generation is used, the code can be empty. Lead time, cutoff time, and usage type have default values.

Save and processing checks

Select the correct lead-time unit from Instant, Hour unit, and Day unit. For Hour unit or Day unit, confirm that the value is from 0 to 99.
Confirm that the available shipment days and cutoff time match the actual shipment schedule.
After saving, confirm that shipment-type name, category, lead time, cutoff time, and usage type are displayed correctly in the list.

Registration

Click Register from the list.
Enter the type name, description, usage status, and other required information.
Click Save to complete registration.

Details and editing

Select an item from the list to review its details.
Click Edit, change the required values, and save.

Deletion

Select the item to remove and click Delete.
Review the item in the confirmation dialog and approve the deletion.
Shipment types already in use may be protected from deletion.
